Kathy Mazzafero Manager/Vice President of the Bank of Stockton in Angels Camp and former candidate in the District 1 Supervisors race has formally announced she is endorsing Gary Tofanelli as her choice in the Calaveras County District 1 Supervisors race.

The announcement came during a fundraiser dinner held at the Vets Hall in Valley Springs.

 Statement

My wife and I have made the Valley Springs area of Calaveras County our home for the last 16 years. We have been married  36 years and have two sons. Together we own and manage two businesses. I have served four terms on the Calaveras County Grand Jury and was appointed Foreman during the 2006-2007 term. Experience serving on the Grand Jury with its countywide oversight functions, combined with the localized experience of serving 16 years in management on the Valley Hills Estates Homeowners Association board, has provided me with unique and distinct expertise to deal with the diverse challenges facing Calaveras County. As a long time business owner, I am well qualified to provide sound fiscal management for the county taxpayers. I can and will be a full time supervisor serving all residents of District 1.
